Once you submit the form, our team reviews your details and contacts you within one working day. We’ll arrange a convenient time for an initial free first visit at your home, where we will discuss your ideas, budget, and priorities. To have this visit there is no obligation, simply the first step in exploring what’s possible for your home.
Do I need drawings or measurements before contacting you?
No, many homeowners reach out at an early stage with only a rough idea of what they want and only want to see if it is possible. We can guide you on the feasibility, good practical uses of the space you are planning to have built, discuss your budget or give ideas of a possible budget range to consider for the proposed works, and what the next steps are. If you do already have plans then we can also work with those plans and can still discuss your options and choices moving forward.
Is the Free Consultation really free?
Yes, the consultation is completely FREE. It’s designed to help you understand how the process works and whether we are the right fit for your project. You’ll only move forward if you’re confident and comfortable.
How long does a home extension project usually take?
Every project is unique, but as a guide:
• Feasibility Study: 2–3 weeks
• Design phase: 4–6 weeks (after instruction to proceed)
• Planning approval: 8–12 or 16–18 weeks (varies per council’s planning department and dependent on which type of application is made)
• Build phase: 10–16+ weeks (dependant on scope, size & complexity of the build job) During your consultation, we’ll give you a guideline of the timeline that matches your specific home, goals, and constraints and will then confirm it during your Feasibility Study Presentation.
Do you cover projects outside Hertfordshire?
Our core service area includes St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Enfield, Watford, Harrow and nearby towns. If you are slightly outside these areas, feel free to contact us – we regularly review projects on a case-by-case basis.
What if I'm not ready to start yet?
That’s completely fine. Many homeowners get in touch 3–12 months before they plan to begin. Early guidance usually saves time, money, and unnecessary steps later.
