Michelle Dunbar
Role: Director & Senior Project Manager
Bio: Michelle brings over two decades of hands-on experience designing and delivering home extensions in and around Hertfordshire. Her focus is clear communication, structured project management, and ensuring every extension moves smoothly from concept to completion.
She oversees the day-to-day operations, manages Client relationships, as well as Contractors ensuring each project is delivered to a consistent, professional and compliant standard.
With a natural eye for detail, she enjoys finding unique and creative solutions that align with each Client’s needs and vision, ensuring every extension reflects the way they want to live and use their space.
Stephen MacSweeney
Role: Founder
Bio: Stephen has been designing and building home extensions in Hertfordshire since 1989, leading some of the region’s most established and respected extension companies. With more than 35 years of experience, he brings deep technical knowledge, practical build expertise, and a strong understanding of how to deliver work that stands the test of time.
His career started out as an Estate Agent and then later in life he opened many of his owner Estate Agents as well as have Letting Agencies.
He also is personally committed to preserving and strengthening indigenous fauna, flora and wildlife in and around Hertfordshire, which influences his thoughtful and responsible approach to planning and construction.
Our Story
For 30 years, homeowners have come to us with the same frustration: their home extension journey had been far harder than it needed to be. They had worked with one company for the design, another for the planning approval, and yet another for the build creating a fragmented process that often led to extensive delays, miscommunications, and unnecessary costs. Once on site the frustrations, in some cases, continued with spiralling costs, unreliable attendance of the builders and miscommunications with the design.
